Prof. Xiang Li  has been included in Elsevier’s 2017 “Most Cited Chinese Researchers (中国高被引学者)”. He has been listed in the field of  “Electrical and Electronic Engineering”. He also has been included in 20162015 and 2014 “Most Cited Chinese Researchers” .

李翔教授入选国家“万人计划”领军人才

近日,中共中央组织部办公厅下发《关于印发第三批国家“万人计划”入选人员名单的通知》。李翔教授入选科技创新领军人才。

第三批国家“万人计划”领军人才人选由中央人才工作协调小组统筹安排,中央宣传部、教育部、科技部组织专家,从相关人才计划中遴选推荐了723名科技创新领军人才、373名科技创业领军人才、220名哲学社会科学领军人才、197名教学名师。其中,科技创新领军人才、科技创业领军人才从“创新人才推进计划”入选者中遴选产生,哲学社会科学领军人才从文化名家暨“四个一批”人才工程入选者中遴选产生。

李翔教授入选“2017上海领军人才培养计划”

近日,中共上海市委组织部、上海市人力资源和社会保障局发布了《关于公布2017年上海领军人才培养计划入选名单的通知》。包括李翔教授在内的106名高层次人才入选这份2017年上海领军人才培养计划名单。

通知勉励“列入培养计划的人员要继续发扬求实、探索、创新的科学精神,做自主创新的表率,努力向成长为上海高峰人才、国家级人才的更高目标前进。同时,要承担起培养年轻科技人才的重任,带领团队积极进取,大胆探索,在实践中不断提高团队的学术技术水平和创新创业能力,努力为上海建设具有全球影响力的科技创新中心和卓越的全球城市提供强大的人才支撑和智力保障”,并号召“各行业、各领域的广大专业技术人才要以领军人才为榜样,立足本职,踏实工作,勇于创新,开拓进取,担负起时代赋予的重要使命,为上海实施创新驱动发展、经济转型升级战略,建设‘四个中心’,以及具有全球影响力的科技创新中心和卓越的全球城市而努力奋斗。”

TOPIC SUMMARY:

Network of cyber-social networks (NCN) is a promising new area that has recently attracted significant interests. Its core differentiator is the tight conjoining among heterogeneous cybersocial networks or between cyber networks and physical networks. The focus of this proposed special issue is to address the interdependence of NCN components that facilitates its modeling, analysis, and control.

Over the past decade, we have witnessed an unprecedented growth of communication networks and online social networks in cyber world that “teleports” us to interact with remote people and/or objects. With the development of cyber technologies, heterogeneous networks become increasingly interdependent. Examples include mobile social networks that exploit social ties, modern power networks that rely on the control and communication over the Internet, and intelligent transportation networks that utilize communication networks to monitor traffic congestion in real time. A mobile social network is a typical multi-layer NCN where the short-range device-to-device communication is influenced by the human social behavior (trust and reciprocity). A modern power network demonstrates a fundamental NCN property where the interconnecting links between networks may induce or impede the risk of cascading failures. Until recently, these heterogeneous networks were mostly treated as separate entities, leaving their complex interactions unexplored.

The topics of interest for this special issue include, but are not limited to:
• Temporal evolution and interdependent modeling of cyber-social networks
• Self-organized and behavior-driven criticality of multi-layered cyber-social networks
• Interdependent collective dynamics and control of cyber-social multi-agent networks
• Synchronization and control of cyber-social networks
• Disease/information spreading dynamics on cyber-social networks
• Distributed optimization and optimal design of cyber-social networks
• Applications of cyber-social network theory.

IMPORTANT DATES:
• Manuscripts due: March 1, 2018 (extended deadline)
• First round of review notifications: June 1, 2018
• Revised manuscripts due: August 1, 2018
• Second round of review notifications: October 1, 2018
• Final accepted manuscript due: December 1, 2018.

李翔教授主持课题获国家自然科学基金重点项目获批立项

日前,国家自然科学基金委员会公布了2017年国家自然科学基金申请项目评审结果。

经专家评审和委务会议审批,李翔教授作为项目负责人主持的课题《社会集群行为涌现与演化机制分析及预测》获得国家自然科学基金重点项目立项资助,执行期限2018年1月至2022年12月。整个项目组由复旦大学智慧网络与系统研究中心、新闻学院、计算机学院和南开大学社会心理学系的科研团队组成。
